Raising for Recess

I'm thrilled to be able to announce that we have a green light to raise funds to buy equipment for recess for children of all abilities and other improvement projects to benefit our children and their educational opportunities like gardens, butterfly gardens, walking paths, picnic tables, and shade structures.

We are in the early planning stages (but we are PLANNING, and DREAMING and IMAGINING). We plan to give parents options from which to choose as we identify what those options are. Please stay engaged in this process. The PTO and school will work together to create a long range plan for the property behind the school and identify phases for implementation. It will all not happen overnight but it will happen and we are THRILLED to have this opportunity to provide opportunities for the development of the whole child: social and emotional health as well as physical well-being which will complement their intellectual and academic achievements.
